"Range Description: Ludwigia hyssopifolia is pantropical in distribution, likely native to America: it has probably been introduced to Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, Sri Lanka, India and Nepal. It is also found in Colombia, Congo-Kinshasa, Benin, Egypt, Ghana, Honduras, Iraq, New Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Suriname, and West Polynesia. In India it is distributed in Andaman & Nicobar islands, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Goa, Kerala, Manipur, Mizoram, Orissa, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.
