Hierbas, hojas e inflorescencias emergen de un bulbo basal.
Hojas digitadamente 3-folioladas; peciolos de 3,5 a 18,0 (-22,0) cm de largo, de glabros a glabrados; foliolos subtriangulares o deltados, apicalmente con forma de "V"; lóbulos divergentes y redondeados. Inflorescencia con 4 a 15 flores lilas, lavandas o rosadas y pétalos de 9 a 17 mm de largo. Cápsulas de 4 a 10 mm de largo.Esta especie se reconoce por sus hojas trifolioladas y glabras; foliolos usualmente triangulares o deltados; el ápice es en forma de "V".Type collection for Oxalis dimidiata Donn.
