The USDA PLANTS Database provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories. It includes native and non-native species, many images, and a variety of search tools.
Laws, policies and regulations regarding Aquatic invasive species in the U.S.A. are listed on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife pages on Aquatic Invasive Species.
The USFWS pages on Aquatic Invasive Species includes a range of information on aquatic invasives in the USA, including policies and the Aquatic Invasive Species programme.
Although primarily North American, the site includes organisms that are a problem in many other areas. The site contains links to publications including field guides (see href="http://www.bugwood.org/publications.htm">publications; publications) and links to many images, many of which are of forest pests.
