Abstract:

A south-african Lycenid, the Geranium Bronze (Cacyreus marshalli, Lepidoptera Lycaenidae) is partially invading south Europe. In France, many meridional places are already colonized, where the butterfly seems to be an important pest of cultivated Pelargonium. For a few years, southwestern and atlantic areas have become its target ; he has now reached the Saintonge (Charentes).
