Nīoi or Koʻolau eugenia Myrtaceae Endemic to the Hawaiian Islands (Molokaʻi, extinct; Oʻahu, extant) Endangered Oʻahu (Cultivated)  The hard wood was fashioned into kapa (tapa) beaters by early Hawaiians.
