Philippine Ground Orchid Orchidaceae Native to tropical and subtropical Asia; naturalized in the Hawaiian Islands on most of the Main Islands of Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Maui and Hawaiʻi Island.  Oʻahu, Hawaii, USA. These terrestrial orchids pop up here and there in Hawaii landscape. They are not native to the Hawaiian Islands.   This particular plant is a volunteer as is often the case and, for what it's worth, is monitored regularly so as not to allow more seed to be released and perpetuate plants into our community.  nativeplants.hawaii.edu/
