| Description | The wintering Ross's Goose has been grazing by day on the outfield meadow and sleeping at night with the Coots on Ballona Creek. This goose is a rare winter resident for now grazing on the outfield meadow. We had a Ross's Goose visitor last year at this time also. Possibly the same goose? Update: The Ross's Goose is no longer here on the reserve as grooming activity on the the outfield meadow has commenced in preparation for the coming ball season. |
