Description
This genus--I think it is a characteristic of the genus--has the remarkable habit of singing from the underside of a leaf. It chews a hole just the right size for its forewings, and then "sings" by placing the forewings over the hole--see adjacent photo.  --BugGuide account--Neoxabea bipunctata
